La Jolla Shores - Beach Bonfire

La Jolla Shores

La Jolla Shores is filled with so many fun activities - from kayaking, cave tours, and bonfire pits — it’s the perfect summer spot for anyone! San Diego has some beautiful beaches, but there are only a select few that offer designated bonfire pits.

It sometimes requires some scouting, but we got pretty lucky at La Jolla Shores with a bonfire pit conveniently located near the parking lot. We quickly unloaded all our goodies, set up the beach chairs, and cracked a cold LIFT Seltzer — with all natural flavors, organic agave, this cannabis infused seltzer allows you to have no hangover with a light and uplifting buzz! You can learn more about LIFT Seltzer here.

Our friends joined us after work and brought some delicious brats from The Wise Ox too, in which they picked up in their Ox Box! We roasted the brats over the bonfire, with some delicious caramelized onions and brioche buns. We definitely recommend checking them out in their La Costa or North Park locations — it was a perfect meal pairing with our cold LIFT Seltzers.

We finished the night off with great laughs, chill vibes, and watched the surfers ride off into the beautiful sunset — we definitely recommend La Jolla Shores for your summer beach bonfires!

Sunset at Sunset Cliffs

Dedicated in 1983, Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a 68-acre City of San Diego regional park which extends 1½ miles along the Point Loma peninsula's western shoreline. This unique coastal environment features expansive ocean views, dramatic cliff formations and caves, a fascinating intertidal area, and native coastal sage scrub habitat, which provides connectivity to the adjacent Point Loma Ecological Reserve. Sunset Cliffs has long served as an attraction for San Diego residents as well as national and international visitors.

With its rugged coastline and panoramic views, this area is popular with surfers, ocean-gazers, and folks who like to cruise Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, which runs the length of the cliffs. The drive along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, which begins at Adair Street and continues south to Ladera Street, offers breathtaking views and the most amazing sunsets that you will ever see.

We highly recommend bringing along some LIFT Seltzer to enjoy the sunset, with all natural flavors, organic agave, this cannabis infused seltzer allows you to have no hangover with a light and uplifting buzz!

Mission Bay Park - Bonfire

Mission Bay Park is the largest aquatic park of its kind in the country. It consists of over 4,235 acres in roughly equal parts land and water. Mission Bay boasts 27 miles of shoreline, 19 of which are sandy beaches. With so much amazing waterfront beach its a no brainer that any #sdfoodies must go check it out!

There are so many spots to grab a fire pit, although we prefer either heading to the North Cove near Paradise Point Resort for our favorite sunset view. This west facing cove is great for enjoying the sunset, there are spot with great sand and some with no sand, so be sure to check out the entire cove to find the spot that is best for you!

Our Fire Pit was right off Vacation Isle, in North Cove.

We highly recommend bringing along some LIFT Seltzer to enjoy the sunset, with all natural flavors, organic agave, this cannabis infused seltzer allows you to have no hangover with a light and uplifting buzz!
